"Aha! I am going to work on my weight during lockdown!"
So we thought, and by "we" i speak for all the chubby and paunchy girls that society has made a point of reminding that they need to workout, or look like models.
Atleast that was my Lockdown resolution. But for the last seven weeks of quarantine, i can shamelessly tell you i havent even made a full week of daily exercise. I enjoy(ed) all the sweet nothings, the carbonated drinks, late night snacks, not forgeting all three meals of the day! The icing being my new profound love for sleep. I am always on the bed - every little chance i get. Infact, i have spent more time lying and lousing on the bed during this quarantine than i have on my computer.
Back to the point. Health and Fitness.
Am i fit? No. More out of trim than ever.
Am i healthy? Well, that is a question i will save for the doctor when i make my visit after this whole lockdown thing blows over. I am in no right state of mind to give an unbiased reply..
But just so you know, my dear reader, i feel more plump than ever! My clothes have denied me. The mirrors doubt me. I can barely take a decent pic without numerous trials in various angles. Oh Gosh! It even bothers me typing those truths here. I am not sad though, and i will tell you why.
My boyfriend is my partner in crime. Yes girls, you read right. He loves the plump me just as much. Am i not the luckiest girl in the land? We eat all those things together. He takes it a step further and buys the unhealthy snacks for us occassionally in the evening. If this isn't love, then it must be subterfuge.
Bottom line is, i have failed to achieve my health and fitness quarantine goals. And what better way than to postpone them to 2021. This year has just slipped through our calenders like that. So, to my petite self, see you in 2021!
